Pop Tart vs Toaster Strudel

Alright so one I think this one is way lop sided, but that is me. To start things off Pop Tarts are way better than Toaster Strudel's.
One Pop Tarts are easier to make, can keep them in the cabinet and either throw them in the toaster which takes 2 minutes or you can just eat them without heating them up. Toaster Strudel's offer you only one of those options, there is no other option than heating up on Strudel's. So your time value on Pop Tarts is way higher. Cause everyone is always in a hurry in the mornings and wants something that they can grab quick and take on the go.
Now, lets not forget the packet of frosting that you have to apply to the Strudel. Now we can agree that it adds a level of excellence to the product but don't forget Pop Tarts have frosting too and you don't have to spend all the effort to apply it. We can't neglect either the fact that how many times have you made a Toaster Strudel and been like man I want TWO packets of frosting ( come on I know we all have). Then next thing you know you, you're at your last one and you don't have any frosting left and how bummed are you, I mean completely. Your day has been ruined! You have no hope left for the rest of your day, because your breakfast has been totally F'd.
Variety is way greater too, more flavors are in Pop Tarts than their rival. Pop Tarts offer more versatility too, you can eat them at anytime during the day because you can eat them cold, Toaster Strudel's as in there name need to be heated up to achieve any level of satisfaction. Otherwise they are completely worthless
Lastly, which would you rather have, a Biscuit or a Croissant? If you say croissant you can swim your happy !@# back to France. Not to mention, we all know the guy on the front of the Toaster Strudel box is super creepy.

  1. I agree with everything said, but you neglected to mention one the thing. The much better taste provided by the Toaster Strudel.

  2. I am not one for the flakey type crust of the strudel so I am on your side with the pop tart. Its also been around for longer (I think). Kellogg > Pillsbury your welcome girth!

  3. You see I really think that the taste of the Pop Tart is on par with the taste of the Toaster Strudel when heated up.

  4. Toaster strudels are Flakey, and thats a sign of quality manufacturing. Its easy to just jam flavored newspaper shaving together into a cohesive pop tart, but if it's flakey you know there's actual bread product in there.

And the frosting is better tasting than the shit they put on pop tarts. Again, it's consistency is more like real frosting, that you buy on its own. Pop tart frosting is flavored paint.

Plus, the filling tastes like real fruit, while pop tart filling tastes like warm cool-aid with way too much powder.

  5. Just based on the pompus commercials Strudel had making the kid with the Pop Tart feel like a 3rd rate human I go with the Superior Strawberry with Frosting Pop Tart.

  6. Toaster Strudels are by far the superior product. The flakiness alone, much less the awesome "do-it-yourself" topping, make the strudel way better than Pop-Tarts. And like the others have said, Strudels taste much better than poop-tarts.

A wise man once told me, "Uhhhhh, you're dumb."

  7. Spangle, I don't think you should have even written this post. There is absolutely zero comparison between between the Strudel and its cooler, bigger, smarter, and better laying older brother, the Pop Tart.

  9. If you are going to use a toaster, you might as well have a Toaster Strudel. Therefore, we are comparing cold Pop Tarts to Toaster Strudels. Now, in terms of cold Pop Tarts, unless you are eating Brown Sugar and Cinnamon, you are eating crap. The others flavors all suck. Fact. TS for the win.
